A general rule of thumb in the events industry is that catering should comprise 25% to 35% of your total wedding investment.

Catering costs can vary based on factors such as menu selections, guest count, seasonality of ingredients, required rentals, and venue logistics. This flexibility enables us to create a customized plan that aligns with your wedding specific needs.

Additional considerations, including staffing, necessary rentals, administrative fees, and any applicable minimums, will be clearly outlined and provided for your approval in advance, ensuring complete transparency.

This minimum varies depending on the number of guests, the multiple services we offer and the complex of the design. 

Are there extra fees?
Yes, additional fees include:

  • Tax

  • Creativity fee 

Do you have a license and insurance?
Yes, we hold a catering license, bar insurance, and general liability insurance to ensure a professional and compliant service.

What areas do you serve?
We proudly serve Central Florida, including Bradenton, Sarasota, Tampa, St. Pete, and Fort Myers.

How far in advance should I reserve with Exotic Gourmet?
For social and corporate event galas, we recommend booking at least 6 months in advance. For weddings, we suggest reserving at least a year in advance to ensure availability and thorough planning.

How many wedding or events we execute annually?

No more than 8 per year since at Exotic Gourmet we specialize in creating a highly personalized experience for our clients, which requires several days of preparation and our Chef Cynthia will work and design for you.
